Yes, that is correct. And in most places it is illegal. When I made an offer on a house, one of the things I had to sign was a form that stated I did not feel like I was discriminated against for any reason.
But you know, people should be able to not like somebody because of their race. Parents should be able to not let their kids play with other kids because of their race. I think it is sick and twisted and in doing so you are only hurting your self and your children. But it is still what they think, and believe. I would just hope the children are smart enough to realize what is going on. I think they are. My grandparents are pretty racist, they passed that on to my parents to a lesser degree. My parents were not successful in passing it to me. At some time I hope that this happens with the rest of the country, It will take some time but I think it will happen.
