The answer to your question is yes, and from a dose of fear of loss of lifestyle. I think "lifestyle persecution" is like racism. One observation I've had is this: I do lots of business with the French and talk with them numerous times a week as well as travel there often. The French are very protective of their culture amongst each other, but especially from outsiders. This often puts them at odds with their neighbors, but especially Americans. It's a popular sport here to hate the French. (Part of the reason is that America was founded as a "melting pot" even though we don't act that way much). France isn't seen as a team player. Well, when the French talk about protecting their culture they say the same things, and talk the same way, as people against Gay Marriage. For example, on this list Sam once said, "it's been this way thousands of years and now you want to change it." That sounds a heck of a lot like the fear the French have of losing a way of life. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Now thereâs a better way to fax. eFax makes it possible to use your existing email account to send and receive faxes.
