On the other hand, if one is born in the US, one is a citizen, no matter
what, and then if one moves to a foreign country, one can obtain dual
citizenship. This is what my brother has -- he lives in Israel and is a
citizen of the US and of Israel. My sister-in-law Gillian, who was born in
England, moved to South Africa, made aliyah to Israel, and then moved here
for about four years when she married my brother and then moved back to
Israel, is not an American citizen. Their two children, however, are both
American and Israeli citizens.

Makes for an interesting mix, don't you think?
