Does anyone remember real dill pickles? The kind that were SOUR and didn't reek of garlic?
We had a farm stand up the road (Mashaney's in Preston, CT) that had a barrel full of dill pickles (stored outside under the eves of the barn). Reach down to the bottom (don't get your shirt wet or you small like pickles all day) and get the biggest, sourest bad boy yet. Then go rinse your arm off with the hose (let it run for a minute, or the water in the black hose will scald you). Great times.
