Well I am unable to donate blood due to the Gulf War.

If you served in the military you know you were given a lot of
vaccinations. Do you know what those vaccinations were?

I donate blood frequently (6 gallons last year) and was recently told
that I have Hep B antigens in my system.

The doctor assured me I do not have Hep B, ( I have since gone to my
doctor for Hep A, B, and C tests, I am clean) but having the antigens in
my system is a strong indication that I was probably vaccinated for Hep
B.

The bottom line is the Hep B antigens have a tendency to create a false
positive test result while screening blood and I have now been
permenantly deferred from ever donating blood again.

Does anyone know if the Hep B vaccination was one of those vaccinations
we received in the military?
