Just think of what would happen if the same thing happened the other way.
The dealer had the transmission guys look at it, you bought it but it had a
problem.

In that case, unless there was some foul play on the part of the dealer,
then it is your problem. I can't think of any used car dealer that would
take the car back.

This is bad luck for them, and maybe the repair shop. If I were you I might
look for another repair shop :)
