They did. Only a handful read the NIE fast page five according to the Washington Post. They also have the power to ask question and get answers. They did have the same access they just had to request it. To say they didn't have the same info because they couldn't sit in on the daily briefing is just ridiculous. It's the Presidents Daily brief. Do you know the briefings had more info then were available to Congress?
