I knew it wasn't meant to be an action movie. I have not read the book but
did read a bit about the movie before going to see it. The problem I had
with the movie was that it was too slow moving. The fact that the movie was
tilted more towards the mindset of the soldier was fine, but the only real
message that was conveyed was that the soldiers only care about squeezing
the trigger and nothing else matters... a bunch of trigger happy killing
machines.... the movie was just really bland. Jamie Foxx was pretty good
considering though...
