Dude. Do you ever drive in traffic? There is no such thing as a "safe distance". If you tried to leave a safe distance somebody will just fill in the gap (which is what I do so I don't have to drive behind the fat asses). The problem is the SUV driver is probably on the phone or eating and realizes it's time to stop. He slams on the brakes but, because the guy behind him can't see the brake lights in front of the SUV, his only warning is the SUV. Crunch! Happens every day. Look at any camera on any city highway. You'll see an SUV with bashed up tail and a small car with a bashed up front end. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase Dreamweaver with Homesite Plus from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=54 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:184242 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
