There's your mistake right there.  Now if you want to talk safety,
having a better engine, brakes, suspension, and tires than others is
WAY safer than being slow and top heavy.

These are the precepts of the "safety through agression" driving
strategy that I advocate.  Coincedentally, this is also much more fun.

About the kids/SUV thing, I'm with Tim - fek the SUV, get the STi. 
Kids are small, they fit in the back somehow.
