Pretty slick! (A good example of a data-driven Flash application.)

MSN Radio does this as well with their "Favorites Stations" feature
(although without the extensive style descriptions and options) and it's one
of my favorite features.

One thing about MSN music that I dislike that Pandora seems to get is that
when I say I like a band I'd like to hear it every once in a while. The MSN
feature never plays the band that you entered.

Pandora clearly reviews each track in some detail (style, instrumentation,
etc). The MSN system (which does work well) just uses collated ratings
("people that liked this also liked this").

I can honestly say that it's "worked" - almost all of the music I've bought
recently I've heard via the favorites stations. I've already heard a few
things on Pandora I might buy.

Apparently, go figure, if you give people what they like, they'll spend
money. ;^)
