Go for a 26" LCD, much better deal. Don't be sceptical, save yourself some 
serious back pain. 26"-27" LCDs can be had for under $1,000 on eBay, if you go 
off-brand (e.g. Maxent) you can get one under $600. The size and weight 
difference is HUGE.
