Its a long time coming. Verizon has just offered cable TV service in parts of Fairfax along with a fiber connection to the house.
Cox in contrast still has to get internet connections/cable modems out to us in this part of Manassas. Moreover I've heard so much bad stuff regarding their service quality etc., I seriously wonder why anyone would want to go with cable in this area. larry On 11/30/05, Nick McClure <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > If only cable companies would offer service that can actually compete with > DSL. > > My cable company won't sell dedicated upload speeds or more than three > dedicated IPs and it is an additional $5 a month for each IP > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Sandy Clark [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: Wednesday, November 30, 2005 6:53 AM > > To: CF-Community > > Subject: My VoIP just got better! > > > > I went the VoIP route about a month ago, today my provider (Speakeasy) > > announced that they are adding free calling worldwide to 22 countries > > including the UK, Austria, China, Ireland, New Zealand and a bunch of > > others. > > > > This includes the US and Canada which were previously offered. > > > > Not bad for $24 a month. > > > > Goodbye Ma Bell! > > > > Sandy > > > > > > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:184742 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
