Most of those syrups do contain nut extract (boys, control yourselves), so it's 
an allergy risk.  Even if it was entirely artificial, it still sends a trigger 
to my brain that makes me panic. 

I wonder if there is a thai restaurant nearby... all of my usual haunts for 
that kind of food aren't out in this industrial area.  I grabbed chili from 
Wendy's... which, while fast-food, is actually pretty good
