(1.) This is one of those specious arm-chair quarterback pieces. This
guy is basically saying this: people a year ago made well reasoned
arguments based on historical precedence but now that we all know
things turned out differently, those people should stop reasoning and
just trust that everything will be ok.

(2.) I don't like risk. I estimate the financial world to be very
risky right now for many reasons, all of which are perfectly rational
(terrorism, oil, inverted yield curve, etc.) And none of which the
author addresses.

(3.) I could post 10 articles of people that disagree with him. To
what end? You're so busy arguing subjective topics it's clear you've
no reasoned opinion yourself. Except of course that with Mr. Bush in
office everything must be ok.

If you're convinced things are great, please explain why and how this
translates into your investment philosophy. Where's your money and
why? If everything is great, what investments do you suggest?

Answer? Brownie is doing a heckofa job.

BTW - impressions of the economy are bad but the numbers are good
because wealth is being transferred from the lower and middle class to
the upper class and wealthy. That's why the numbers look good, but
people are shaky. For every 10 guys that were cut from GM and took a
job paying half, life sucks. For the 3 GM financial analysts that
just got a raise things look great.
