That explains a lot. I accidentally took a pocket knife to Florida last week in my backpack. When I was reorganizing my stuff this week, I found the swiss army knife, and realized I had it with me on the plane. I left it in Florida this morning so as not to take it back through security.
My mother got flagged for extra security this morning, and triggered a pretty active response. They found traces of glycerin on her pack with the chemical wipe. They were all nervous until they found the Burt's Bees cutical tin.
