So..it came in this morning covered in what seems to be black grease or oil.
I know cats clean themselves, and I remember reading that they can be poisoned depending on what is on their fur. I'm hesitant about filling a basin or something and putting it in,I don't want to get scratched and it's not my pussy cat. The owners went away and are waiting on papers to come through to import it, and in the meantime I'm taking care of it. But pretty soon I can see it leaving oil stains on the furniture.
