Yeah, those pageants creep me right the hell on out... dressing up a six year old to look like a little sex bomb, and then parading her out in front of adults to judge her on how "hot" she is.... yeeesh.
Theres something inherently wrong here. Be the good uncle it's all you can do, tell her how pretty she is and how you love her just the way she is. It sounds like some of this is self esteem issues. I've got two 15 year old twin nieces with esteem issues, and I just tell them that I love them no matter what and just like they are. Scott A.
