well .. when you don't have any snow plows, 7" might as well be 7 feet.  I
used to live in southwest VA and we would get a couple feet sometimes.  The
snow plows would be going 24 hours a day.  They would have the roads cleared
in no time.  I didn't even *see* a plow here in SC.  Also, Buffalo drivers
are probably a lot more used to snow.  People in the Carolinas and GA
generally aren't.  I'm sure FL would be even worse if they got a couple of
inches.  It's all relative.

I'm sure people in Alaska are saying .. 7 feet?  that's all?  What's the big
deal?  heh

maybe the fact that we got almost 7 *FEET* of snow here in Buffalo and only
had a handful of accidents... they've gotten 7 *INCHES* in most places and
are in the triple-digits with accidents and don't know what to do.  The
headlines here read "South Shut Down after Record Snowstorm".  Then they say
how much snow it is and that's where the chuckling comes in.
