If I recall, he was asked to leave the plane for more security checks, He 
didn't just get up and leave the plane for no reason.

What it comes down to is people didn't do their jobs. People who are 
supposed to check this guys security didn't make the phone call. He had his 
ID and filled out the paper work a number of times.

All they had to do was call.

At the same time, the pilot was worried about what would happen, he was 
afraid that this guy might be an imposter. I would be worried as a 
passenger on an airplane knowing there was a gun on board no matter who was 
carrying it.

You don't know who is crazy out there.
