You are completely correct. I would be seriously irritated for being harrassed for any reason.
But, with 3000+ human beings dead, people are going to be a little more conscientious. And sometimes it may get taken a little too far. But what should be done? That bloke that got arrested for putting explosives in his shoes was profiled and grabbed the day before. Yet he went on the plane the following day and tried to blow it up. Those 9/11 hijackers also did everything by the book. There would have been no reason to keep them off the plane. Other than the immigration status on some of them. As to the SS guy, remember too that he was carrying a gun. I'm sure that that weighed heavily in the captain's mind. > -----Original Message----- > From: Raymond Camden [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Friday, January 04, 2002 2:46 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: We are in big trouble > > Taken to the extreme, I guess the African Americans should have just > minded their business, eh? > > Ok, so that is the extreme.
