I agree on the darker version of the Joker.  Jack Nicholson did
great...but he was somewhat channeling Cesar Romero (altho not nearly
as badly as Tommy Lee Jones was when he played Two Face).

And minor nit to pick...Barbara was paralyzed when the Joker shot her.

It was Jason that he beat to death (I think it was with a tire iron).

I never did read Arkham Asylum :\
