+10 - we can't back out. However, I don't see pulling troops back as backing out, as long as we're willing to put them back in. It's a good experiment that might work. In that way, I'm in favor of the Murtha doctrine. My first choice, though, is to send more in. And they needn't be US troops. I'd like to see every nation throw troops at it because I think it's in every nation's best interest to do so. On one thing, Mr. Bush is right: it's going to be a hard slog to find victory in the Middle East. Even though I think he's made it a lot harder than it need be, we can't pack up and leave. That would kill way more than have already been lost and may pull the world with it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=17 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:188073 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
