> How many incidents have there been with pgm's hitting the wrong targets?
I don't know. A lot? A few? Some? Many? 8? I really don't know. Apparently there have been a sufficient number of these incidents for you to have concluded that the US military is paying no attention to collateral damage. > > there was one a few weeks ago in Afghanistan just outside Khandahar in > the south of Afghanistan. The target was a compound that supposedly > had Taliban forces in it, but the place that was hit was about 1000 > meters away. > > larry > Was it accidental? Was it deliberate? Or was there simply no thought given to it? American soldiers have killed innocent civilians. There is no disputing that. But you are arguing that it is because the US Military does not care about these "collateral" casualties. I think that is patently false. Now if you want to argue that intention doesn't really matter, that dead is dead....that's a different issue all together, and I might agree with you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:188328 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
