I'm not sure what an Infiniti grill insert is vs the grill itself, but
I modify my car all of the time and have bought lots of parts for it.
I *NEVER* buy from the dealer. NEVER!

There is such a massive market for parts you should be able to find
the part you need for dirt cheap on the internet. The place to start
looking would be Infiniti forums - places where people talk about
modding cars. Post a question on who could sell you this part.
You'll get about 500 options.

For example, for my car, the first place I check is
http://www.clairparts.com/ - they have OEM parts for my car, but for
less cost. From there I can go lower, but I'd have to search a bit
more.

As an example, I had to buy winter rims. The OEM wanted $2500 each!
I bought high quality Italian aluminum "reps" or replicas from
Hartmannwheels.com for $200 each.
