huh, danger doom is definitely american, there seems to be a final version
is all.  So my final answer is - Crimes, Blood Brothers and The Mouse and
the Mask, Danger Doom. Both seem to meet my criteria of being coolness that
is otherwise unlikely to make its way to Ottawa....

I would like to thank everyone for their help with this worthwhile endeavor.
My daughter says my sister may retaliate with Madonna...
