the landscape of reality has changed... well, let me rephrase... the landscape
of what we must deal with has been presented to us as a clear and present
danger... i suppose i hold some sort of faith in the government not to eavesdrop
on me and my life as long as i keep my nose clean and myself out of mosque's
and i do not walk down the street carrying a Koran, and i do not make one way
5 month trips to afghanistan and then to bahrain and then to morocco, and then
to france... and then back to the US, with a boatload of cash, and a beard. as
long as i keep myself American, and non-confrontational, i have nothing to worry
about. oddly enough i applaud him for it.
