Well i'm thinking in the realm of appearances though. In general would
that be considered inconsiderate? Because if roommate 1 cranks it then
roommate 1 doesn't care about any of the other people living in the
home right?

Being comfortable with another roommate doesn't excuse roommate 1 of
his responsiblity to keep up appearances does it?

I'm really trying not to be a smarty pants. It is all a learning experience.
