I asked about having an organized group at our university. I was told we could meet as long as the group could prove it had $1,000,000 insurance coverage for the members.
However, the loophole is if the group is "unorganized" and doesn't meet regularly, it's no problem. Hopefully, you won't run into those issues. How about a large business conference room? The L'ville, KY group meets at the UPS offices south of the airport. Have any connections to the local universities there? If you can get the CFUG associated with a campus organization, you might be able to hold it at a meeting room on campus. Maybe at least in the student union. Unfortunately, this is turning into a bigger hassle than I had hoped since most places want money for the privilege and, naturally, we don't have any. In which case, I am looking for some ideas of places that may offer free meeting spaces that I have not already thought of. It doesn't matter whether you're in the Indy area or not as any ideas are welcome. > > Thanks in advance for your help, > --Anne > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:189054 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
