I'm sorry, so what exactly does the thing say? Are you prepared to take into account all items that carry the equal weight of the constitution in the country?
What about all the treaties the US has signed? The 4th amendment is interesting, it claims that there shall be no unreasonable search and seizure, but would congress passing a law allowing it, and the President signing it make it reasonable? I can't remember the exact numbers for the votes, but it passed pretty easily. > -----Original Message----- > From: Dana [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, December 21, 2005 2:19 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: [politics] nobody else seems to be concerned > > yeah, I heard that too. > > > On 12/21/05, Tim Heald <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > Yeah, I might have read about something like that once. > > > > But then again the constitution is just a "god damned piece of paper" > > right? > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:189159 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
