Fighting a police action in an undeclared war, that I supported. I've always said that that was my biggest problem with every deployment I went on, no actual declaration of war. With a declaration of war the military gets far broader powers, and much much more money and resources. Resources and money that would save lives out on the sharp end. I would have a lot more respect for Bushy and his boys if they tried to get congress to declare war.
