This brings up an interesting issue (to me at least).  Yesterday Sam
tried to claim that I don't have the right to associate with AQ
(<--attempt to avoid NSA filter).  Not that I would want to, but I
still have that right.

It would be illegal to conspire to commit a crime, but I have the
right of freedom of association and so I should be free from
molestation by the government unless they have probable cause to think
I'm conspiring to commit a crime.

But what about reporters?  For example, what if a US reporter is going
attempting to interview Bin Laden?  Can the gov't tap the reporters
phones, bug his car and house, and investigate him?
