keep trying. I really encourage you to keep trying. It took me so many tries that one doctor refused to prescribe Nicorette for me anymore. This was before it was over the counter. Anyway, he said I must not be trying very hard and he was not going to continue to give me a drug I was that addicted to.
A couple of comments: Just because you smoke the first cigarette does not mean you have to smoke the second. The more you smoke before you try again the harder you make it for yourself. What is it about getting home that is making you light up? FIgure out what the trigger is. Maybe you have not put the ashtrays away??
