Well, there's no doubt that everyone watches the stuff. But really, what else is there to watch? I enjoy sexual humor, but I think there's far too much of it on TV.
Case in point: I read an article a couple of days ago about the success of the new Howard Stern broadcast on Sirious Radio. One of the first things he said was that swearing was ok but that it would be doled out in minimal amounts because it gets old fast. I feel the same about TV. I watched Friends the whole time, but only at the end did I realize that those girls were total sluts (not to mention the guys). How many men did those women sleep with? Every other show was about how they could get this or that new soulmate and sleep with them. But in between was the humor, and it was good. Same goes for Sex in the City. Damn, that show got so stinkin' old. How many times could Sarah Jessica Parker get a great guy just to dump him? What a bitch. This stuff is garbage for the mind. That doesn't mean I won't watch it. It's an addiction as much as drugs are. - Matt ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gruss Gott" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, January 12, 2006 8:55 AM Subject: Re: The Iran You Don't See >> G wrote: >> Our shortcomings are a direct result of our freedoms > > Well, that's exactly it.
