Point taken.  But please feel free to explain your position.

If I understand you, you feel that some people are too dumb to ever
acquire marketable skills, therefore others should pay their way.  And
by others you mean not you because you're busy trying to pay your own
way.

My position is that, unless you've some type of handicap, you're
perfectly capable of productive lucrative work.  And the best way to
motivate you to do that work is to say there're no handouts.  If you
want it, you've got to go get it.   I back effective education, match
programs, etc.  But NO HANDOUTS.  Welfare is a handout, minimum wage
is a handout.  I know, I used to earn it.

I grew up on the other side of the tracks and so did my wife.  Nobody
in either of our immediate families knew (knows) the first thing about
business, etc.  We had to figure it all out ourselves.  After we were
done fighting the other problems.

And I did get handouts from the gov't when I was a kid.  You know what
happened to them?  I blew it on crap because I was stupid and had no
idea how to leverage capital into a living.
