>I had this one when my son dyed his hair green. I told the school that he >had dyed his hair with my permission, that there was nothing to discuss and >that if they objected to green hair they should put this in the dress code.
Just about every dress code has a snippet in it that forbids any dress or attire that becomes a distraction. While that is pretty broad and open to abuses....it does give the school a leg to stand on in these cases. Just because "green hair" isn't mentioned specifically in the dress code, doesn't mean it's expressly allowed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:193536 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
