Or just the absentmindedness, on my return from 2004 MAX, I forgot had bought a small pair of scissors to cut the mole skin I bought for my blisters I got doing all that walking in brand new shoes. It was just a 1.99 pair of cheap scissors, so I was not going to make a fuss if they kept them, but they decided the scissors where too small and dull to be a threat.
