And I'm saying they already are. But the problem is, different people have different ideas on just what exactly "infringes" on other people.
The primary argument of the social conservatives against gay marriage is that it "destroys" marriage...which infringes on their marriage. They have to make this (ridiculous) argument because they have to somehow show an infringement on them in order for this to be considered for law. If they came out and admitted that they just don't like homosexuals, or they are biased against them for religious reasons......they wouldn't have a chance at legislation. It's the same thing for this intelligent design garbage. Don't admit that you are a religious nut, pretend that teaching evolution is withholding valuable knowledge from students and infringing on their right to knowledge. > More than that, all laws should pass this test to my mind. > > Laws should protect ones rights from being infringed by another. > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:193990 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
