Jillian, One other thing I wanted to add, this is Alexis' favourite activity toy: PLAYSKOOL BUSY BALL POPPER http://www.antiwrap.com/?864
She will play with this toy for quite the long time, long for her that is. Its a kind of hard to describe but it pops balls up onto a small track and then they roll around back to the start. We really reccommend this toy. Alexis got it for christmas and has been playing with it a lot. Its pretty cheap too, about $20. larry On 1/24/06, Jillian Koskie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I need to buy a birthday present for a 1 year old... and not being a parent, > I'm looking for some suggestions. > > I have a 1 year old niece, and for her birthday I bought her a hockey jersey > (her first!)... but that's more 'family specific' and kind of specific to my > sister (her mother). > > I could go to the store and get something generic that looks cute or makes > noise... but I'd like something different... maybe something geeky in some > way.
