Should be, but isn't. The church has been quite vocal on the subject of adult gays, but eerily silent on the man-boy thing.
If the pope really felt strongly on the subject (against it, that is), I think he would in fact take some time each week to rail against it. But I think the fact is that is is a fairly accepted and entrenched habit in Catholic religious orders, and he probably does not really see it as the same level of sin as the other topics he speaks on (or that other people see it).
