I know this is a major problem. As the Vietnam and Korea era soldiers age, and with more and more returning wounded, the system is being taxed. It is especially hard for hose that don't live in or around a major city. I happen to live in DC, so I can go to Walter Reed or to Ft. Belvoir. This service is going to be hurt even more with the planned closing of alter Reed. > I'm sorry you're dealing with that. And, I appreciate that > you put your life on the line for my rights. I don't have a solution. I don't know what to tell you. You go against the war in how you vote. No protesting is going to stop this war now, and it didn't stop the war in Vietnam, other circumstances did that. > I never said you had a moral choice. I didn't think you had, the guy in the article implied that it was up to the "trigger pullers" to do rebel against legal authority and just not fight. First off, this means you would probably die, as the terrorists don't care what you think about the war if your on the ground and in uniform. Even if you were to stage some sort of civil disobedience here before being deployed it just means you would most likely go to prison. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:194458 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
