I had a better idea this morning that I started to podcast on - let's
take the salary of every single politician in office or retired from
service and make THEIR income drive the social welfare programs they
promote.  Hell, I'd even be okay with earmarking the funds for
programs specific to the constituent demographics they represent.

The point of the matter is that it is, in my opinion, a broken system
that is too big and too corrupt for it's own good.
