a guy who uses an alias says I am evasive ;) What I said in a previous thread was that increasing the minimum wage increases the amount of money in circulation more effectively than say handing 22 billion to the insurance industry, especially when you are considering a local economy. Increased resources push the production possibility curve to the right and make the economy more effective.
The fact that you can't get straight what I said after lo these many hundreds of posts is reason enough to decline to engage with you on a new topic, without even going into your habit of hurling around near-libelous labels and mistatements of position. I am very far from being a socialist, Gruss. If you think that Keynes is about the government handing out money, you appear to be far from understanding him, despite your assertions to the contrary. Why in the world would I attempt to talk economics with someone who thinks that Enron and Haliburton are efficient users of capital? Please come out of the eighteenth century.
