Hey, he's just a typical "big kid" - self-centered, often inconsiderate, etc. And he paid for the bourbon, so thinks of it as just "his" - like the Chopin vodka in his freezer.
My wife is hoping he'll mature a little and learn some "couth" ;-) In fact, he gave me a nice bottle of Gewurtztraminer, then said something about wanting to taste it <ha>.
