Tullamore Dew I found in Ireland when I was there in 1993. More subtle than
Bushmills, and a bit more pricey and hard to find here in the states (I
lived in Kansas City area at the time and only one store in the Metro area
carried it, now in Seattle, I've found it in two different locations. Worth
a look).

Elijah Craig is the "next step up" as I understand it from Evan Williams,
and also made by Heaven Hill. Very smooth and "oakey", and priced very
reasonably ($14-$15 a bottle). I started drinking it after one too many
nights out with Jimmy Beam. Great on the rocks, or neat, wouldn't want to
waste it with Coke.

Haven't tried Woodford Reserve, but Knob Creek has become my "go to" Bourbon
when out on the town since everybody seems to have it. Maker's is very
tasty, too.

Going to some meetings in Paris in a couple of weeks so I have to gear up
for <cf_shudder>Jim Beam</cf_shudder> being the only Bourbon available. Of
course I guess I could just enjoy the wine...
