I doubt there is any way that the Isreal-Palestine issue can become
wwIII. A local war, sure. Even a nuclear local war. But I don't see
more than 4 or 5 countries getting involved when/if that happens.

You also forgot option three.

3) The attacks will now be carried out by a group called "we are not
hamas", which will have a startlingly large membership overlap with
hamas.
