Why should any manner of expression of opinion be "unwise"? Isn't that really saying that your society doesn't value free speech? I understand your point, but it feels like an implicit endorsement of violence or at least an acceptance of it. People should be allowed to publish provocative cartoons and other should be allowed to peacefully protest. If those protests become violent the police should shut that down with whatever force is necessary. Under no circumstances do I think we should in any way lessen the violent reaction. It's equivalent to saying, "Sure rape is wrong, but by wearing the miniskirt she was asking for it." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:196897 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
