I stopped looking at my feet after my fourth broken toe and fractured instep. Unless I break an ankle, my ortho just tells me to tape em together. sas -----Original Message----- From: Loathe [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, February 27, 2006 1:05 PM To: CF-Community Subject: RE: Double Whammy I split the distal shaft of my second metatarsal on a road march a while back. My foot DID hurt. I knew that it was hurt, but thought it was just the aggravated sprain. It never occurred to me (although it will now) that it could actually be broken. Or that I was making it worse by the activity (until the last 2 days, when the swelling didn't go down). (It was the middle three long metatarsals, where the bone widens to form the joint with the toes.) Of course, in hind site, I can see why my blood sugar levels started going screwy at about the same time. On 2/27/06, Larry C. Lyons <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > dude! Diabetic Neuropathy!
