Ha! That's a spin-o-rific take if I ever heard one. I don't know about people's feelings about the economy. Iraq is an issue, but look at the details of the poll:
--- "Total Republicans" contacted: 272 unweighted and 289 weighted. "Total Democrats" contacted: 409 unweighted and 381 weighted. "Total Independents" contacted: 337 unweighted and 348 weighted. --- So it looks like the poll is slanted toward Dems, probably to the tune of a few percentage points. Still puts Bush where he has been, not in good shape. > So I think when you combine an Iraq that's not getting visibly better, > > a nervousness about the economy, and a VP that shoots people and has > a > ranch owner for a press office, people are going to be negative. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:198319 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
