XBOX media center is nice. No TV tuner though. It also has a hard time
playing (Choppy video) videos from a network share when those files are
recorded at DVD standard play.
150gb drive bare minimum. Will fill up quickly even though you don't think
you will.. I have trouble keeping my 250 free.
Non Hi-Def card. The Happague PVR-150 or PVR-500 dual tuner. You want a card
that does HARDWARE encoding for SURE.
Hi Def cards.. Pretty much in its infancy, not much over the air stuff yet
(at least in my area) Not on the cheap...
